Homewood Christian Academy was founded in 1976.  Our primary purpose is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education in which all academic disciplines are predicated on the belief that the universe was created by God for His glory.  Homewood Christian Academy operates as a private, interdenominational, co-educational Christian school with programs planned for pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.  Homewood Christian Academy is a ministry that is committed to New Testament Christianity.  Our practice and doctrine is consistent with the Word of God.

Our program of learning emphasizes academic excellence with experiences  aimed at developing the child's maximum spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional potential.

Homewood Christian Academy offers:                                                               

  • Daily devotions, Bible classes, weekly chapel services, praise dance        
  • A thoroughly Christian-based curriculum featuring A Beka Books and Bob Jones Publications. 

  • Full state recognition and member of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)

  • Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grades:  Music, Art, Physical Education, Spanish, Computer, Reading Enrichment.

  • Morning and After-school programs from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Music, Art, Praise Dance and Tutoring

  • Jr. High Retreats

  • Full food program:  breakfast, lunch, and after-school snack

  • Summer Camp/ Summer School

All new students are admitted on an “observation” basis for the first quarter (nine weeks).
