Purposes of Parents and Teachers For Excellence

And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord, and great shall be the peace of thy children.

-  Isaiah 54:13

The primary purpose of Homewood Christian Academy is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education in which all academic disciplines are predicated on the belief that the universe was created by God for His glory.   The program of learning emphasizes a Christian philosophy of education and academic excellence with learning experiences aimed at developing the students’ maximum spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and emotional potential.  We, the parents, teachers, and administrators of Homewood Christian Academy, believe that through our Spirit-led partnership, we can produce disciples of Jesus Christ that are prepared both spiritually and academically to successfully fulfill the plan that God has mandated for their lives.  Therefore, the mission of the Homewood Christian Academy PTE is to support these goals by:

  • Praying for the ministry of Homewood Christian Academy.
  • Supporting the Statement of Faith of Homewood Christian Academy.
  • Encouraging Christian morality, spiritual growth, and obedience to the Word of God.
  • Supporting and promoting the philosophy, purpose, policies, rules, and guidelines of H.C.A.
  • Helping with extra-curricular events and special functions.
  • Raising funds to meet the financial needs of the school through approved fund-raising programs.
  • Donating time and energy to the ministry of Homewood Christian Academy to enhance the planned program of instruction.
  • Discouraging conflict, strife, and gossip.
  • Building strong relationships between students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Attending and supporting school functions.

Let us unify in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that our students will be able to grow and learn in an educational setting of unparalleled excellence!
